Zusammenfassung

Psychotherapie im Strafvollzug ist ständig damit konfrontiert, dass weder die Ursachen von Kriminalität noch die Entwicklungsprozesse der Klienten im Rahmen der gängigen psychopathologischen Kriterien vollständig interpretierbar sind. Gleichzeitig ist die therapeutische Praxis größtem Rechtfertigungsdruck ausgesetzt und damit ständig in Gefahr, sich in einem Maße auf legitimierende Kategorien festzulegen, die der unmittelbaren Beziehungserfahrung im Therapieprozeß widersprechen.

Ausgehend von einem anthropologisch begründeten Vernunftkonzept wird zum einen die Entwicklung von inneren Strukturen verdeutlicht, deren Ursache und Antriebe Angstbewältigung und deren Folgen z.B. Kriminalität ist. Zum zweiten wird herausgearbeitet, wie die Angst der Therapeuten unter Rahmenbedingungen, die sie überfordern und die sie gleichwohl mitgestalten, u.U. dazu nötigt, therapeutisch vernünftiges oder auch nur menschliches Handeln vorschnell legitimierenden Kategorien zu opfern.

Summary

Psychotherapy within a prison sentence is a situation that is constantly confronted with the fact that neither the causes of criminality nor the developmental processes of the clients within the framework of the usual psycho-pathoplogical criteria can be fully interpreted. At the same time therapeutic practise is subject to the greatest pressure to justify itself and in this way is continually in danger (to an extent) of committing itself to legitimising categories, which contradict the immediate relationship experience within the therapy process.

Departing from an anthropologically-rooted common-sense concept, in the first case the development of inner structures is illuminated, whose origins and impulses are manifest in overcoming fear and, for example, the criminality which follows. Secondly it is made clear how the therapists´ own fear, having to work within a framework of conditions which is too demanding, but which they themselves also help to create, deceives them and makes it necessary for them to rashly sacrifice therapeutic common-sense or even purely human treatment for legitimising categories.

Résumé

La psychothérapie en prison est confrontée en permanence avec les faits que ni les causes de la criminalité ni les processus d’évolution des clients sont interprétables selon les critères psychopathologiques classiques. En même temps la pratique thérapeutique est soumise à de fortes pressions juridiques. Elle est en permanence en danger de se laisser fixer sur des catégories justificatrices qui sont en contradiction avec les expériences relationnelles du processus thérapeutique.

En partant d’un concept anthropologique de la raison sera décrit d’une part l’évolution des structures intérieures dont cause et agent mouvant sont le dépassement de l’angoisse et dont les conséquences peuvent être la criminalité. En deuxième lieu sera évoqué à quel point l’angoisse contraint les thérapeutes sous des conditions cadres qui les dépassent et qu’ils forment en même temps d’abandonner des actions raisonnables du point de vue thérapeutique ou simplement humaniste trop rapidement en faveur des catégories de justifications.
