Coronary Venous Anatomy by Retrograde
Venography
M. Yoda, B. Hansky, J. Vogt, K. Minami
We assessed the angiographic anatomy of the CS by
retrograde venography, and these CS’ and its tributaries’
diameters and angulations may allow the insertion of commercially
available leads (2 mm) in all cases in at least one vein.
The MCV located comparatively near from the CS ostium. We should pay
attention in order to avoid complications with the retrograde
cardioplegia cannula.
Our data is very important for LV pacing therapies in congestive heart
failure patients that require placing leads into the CS and
tributaries, and retrograde cardioplegia for cardiac procedures.
